Katha:

In ancient times, Mandonmatt Pundrik, etc. snakes used to reside in the city named Ratnapura which was decorated with gold and gems. Gandharva, Kinnar, and Apsara used to consume King Pundarika. There lived a beautiful Apsara named Lalita and a Gandharva named Lalit. Both men and women always used to play in their houses full of love and wealth. Their husband always resided in Lalita's heart.

Lalita always used to reside in her husband's heart. Once upon a time, Pundarika, etc. Gandharva was playing sports in the assembly and Lalit Gandharva without women was singing. He started singing discordantly while remembering Lalita. His verses did not rest at the right pace. Karkot Nag came to know this difference, he went to Pundrik Nag and told the whole story. Pundarik's eyes turned red with anger. He cursed Lalit who became lustful.

"O foolish one! You become a man-eating monster. Because you became under the control of a woman while singing in front of me." By his words, he became a demon. Lalita said, "It was scary to see his fierce face and evil eyes." Lalita was saddened to see the fierce figure of her husband and started worrying that her husband is suffering from a curse, what should I do where should I go? This worry did not give him peace.

They both started roaming in the forest. That demon became merciless, sinful, ugly, and a man-eater. Lalita was very sad to see his condition and started roaming in the forest with him crying. Once upon a time, Lalita saw the holiest hermitage of Shringi Rishi on the top of Vindhyachal. Lalita soon went there and humbly sat down, seeing her, Munishwar said, "O Shubhe! Who are you and whose daughter are you? Why have you come here? Tell me the truth."

Lalita said, "There is a great Gandharva named Veeradhanva, I am his daughter. Lalita is my name. O sage! My husband has become a demon because of the curse. O sage! I am not happy to see his hideous appearance and bad behavior. Oh Lord! Now tell me his atonement. So that he can be released from the demon's vagina.

The sage said, "O Rambhoru! The Ekadashi of the bright fortnight of the month of Chaitra is named Kamada. By observing it, the wishes of humans are fulfilled. Observe it according to my advice. Give the virtue of this fast to your husband. Therefore His curse will be removed in a moment." Lalita was pleased to hear the sage's words. After fasting on Ekadashi, on the day of Dwadashi, sitting near a Brahmin in front of Lord Vasudev, Lalita asked for the salvation of her husband.

The fast of Kamada Ekadashi that I have observed, may its vampire vagina go away due to its virtuous effect. At that time Lalita was sitting there in the demon's vagina. With this sentence of Lalita, her sins were removed at the same time. That divine body became Gandharva and his demonic vagina went away. All sins are destroyed by observing this fast.
