How to fast on Padmini Ekadashi?
Rule on the day of Dashami Eating meat, lentils, gram, karonda, vegetables, honey, and foreign food in a bronze bowl is prohibited on the day of Dashami. Have food for the future. Salt should not be eaten. Sleep on the ground on Dashami and remain celibate. On the day of Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning and take cow dung, soil, sesame, and kusha and bathe methodically by applying amla powder on the body.

By reciting the mantras of Varuna, remembering the holy places of the Ganges, wherever there is a water body, he should take a ritual bath in it.

Take Vaishnav along and listen to the story in front of Thakur ji. Do not drink water on the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Malmas, or in this fast, drink refreshments and milk and do not eat anything.
Jagran should be done in the night by kirtan and playing instruments. Ardhya should be given in the first half of the night by keeping a circle in the worship. Arghya should be given in the second with quince, in the third with bijoure, and in the fourth with betel nut. Especially it is appropriate to worship with orange. Awakening in the first hour leads to the virtue of Agnishtom Yagya. In the second phase, Bajpayee gets the fruit of Ashwamedh, in the third phase, Rajasuya in the fourth phase.
How perfect is Ekadashi fasting considered?
Those people who observe this fast, definitely go to heaven by getting rid of all sins. By reciting and listening to it one gets the fruit of the Ashmedh Yagya.

In Tretayuga, a great king was born in Mahishmatipuri. That king had one thousand queens. But none of them had any children. The king thought in his mind that the wish is fulfilled by doing penance, thinking that he handed over the kingdom to the minister and went to do penance.
Padmini, the daughter of King Harishchandra, was the queen of that king. She also went to Gandhamadan mountain with her husband. The king did penance for ten thousand years.
Then Padmini humbly asked Anasuya, the devotee of the husband, "O Sadhvi! Ten thousand years have passed since my husband performed penance, yet Keshav, the remover of sufferings, was not pleased. Become and bestow the boon of having a child.
Our king is very sad because of not having a child because a childless man does not get salvation. So tell me such a fast that will give birth to a child.”
Anasuya, a husband-worshipper, was pleased to listen to Padmini Rani and said, "O Subhru! This adhik maas is superior in twelve months. It comes in thirty-two months. There is an Ekadashi named Padmini in it, she should be kept awake by fasting. The God who gives children will be pleased soon."
By saying this, Anasuya explained the method of fasting to her. After listening to him, she did all the rituals with the desire to have a child. On completion of the fast, Lord Keshav was soon pleased. God Garuda Dhwaj said, "O beautiful! Ask for a wish."
Hearing this, Padmini was pleased and said, "Give my husband a great boon." God said, "O Bhadra! You have pleased me. There is no one else who is as dear to me as adhik maas, in which Ekadashi is especially dear to me. O beautiful! You have observed the fast of Ekadashi methodically. I am pleased with you on this. I will give a boon to your husband as per your wish."
By saying this, the God who removed the sorrows of the world said to the king, "O Rajendra! Ask for a boom according to your wish, the queen has pleased me to fulfill your wish." The king was pleased to hear the words of Vishnu ji. To whom all people salute. Asked for a son with such big arms. When the king said this, saying 'tathastu’’, the Lord disappeared.
The king also came to his city happy, strong, and happy along with the queen. Padmini had a very strong son named Kartavirya. There was no human being like him in Triloki.
