In ancient times, Kuber's forest named Chaitrarath was beautified with flowers in the spring. There the daughters of Gandharvas used to play with eunuchs. Indradi Devta also used to play there. There was no other forest more beautiful than the Chaitratha forest, in that forest sages used to do penance, sages named Medhavi also resided there, where Apsaras tried to fascinate the sage. Apsara named Manjughosha started trying.
Manjughosha was like the wife of Kamdev. Seeing the brilliant sage, she gets impressed by him. The meritorious sages wearing the white yajnopavit with the beautiful body of youth were also getting decorated like another Cupid. Manjughosha was standing away from the sages. The forest resounded with the thunder of her bangles and the tinkling of her jewels. Seeing the Apsara singing with gestures, Munishwar was also got influenced by sex. Manju Ghosha came and hugged Muni. Seeing her beautiful body, that Munishwar also started enjoying with her in the forest. The meritorious sage, forgetting the principle of Shiva, got influenced by Cupid. While enjoying with Manjughosha, Muni did not care about direction, and day and night, Munishwar spent a lot of time in Bhog Vilas. Then Manjughosha thought of going to heaven. While walking she remembered and said to the sage, "Allow me to go home." Medhavi said, "O beautiful face! You have come today in the evening. Stay with me till morning." She stopped after listening to these words of Muni. Then fifty-seven years, nine months, and three days passed. After this much time had passed, the Apsara again spoke to the sage, "O Brahmin! Allow me to go home." Medhavi said, "It is still morning, listen to me, till I do evening, you stay here." She got scared after hearing this word of Muni, then smiled and said in amazement, "Vipendra! What is the proof of your evening? Whether it has ended or not, kindly consider the time passed by me." Muni was very surprised to hear this sentence of Apsara. The Brahmin estimated the time by meditating in his heart and said, "Oh beauty! Fifty-seven years have passed with you." Seeing the Apsara who spoils the penance like Kaal, the sage's lips started trembling with anger and said, "You become a vampire. O sinner! Woe to you." Milked by the curse of the sage, the nymph with beautiful eyebrows humbled herself and prayed to the sage, "O Vipra! I have spent many years with you. That's why oh lord! Have mercy on me." Muni said, "O Bhadre! What should I do? You have destroyed my great penance. However, I tell you the solution to get rid of the curse, listen to it. In the Krishna Paksha of Chaitra, there is an auspicious Ekadashi named Papmochani, which destroys all sins. Hey Bhadre! By fasting for it, the vampire vagina is left. Having said this, Medhavi went to his father's hermitage. Seeing Medhavi coming, sage Chyavan said, "O son! What have you done? Destroyed all the penance."
The meritorious said, "I did Raman with an Apsara, it is a great sin. Now tell me the atonement so that the sin can be removed." Chyawan said, "Papmochani Ekadashi is the Krishna Paksha of Chaitra. O son! By observing this fast, the group of sins is destroyed." After listening to this promise of his father, the sage observed a perfect fast. The sin of the sage was removed and he became a pious soul. That Manjughosha also got rid of the vampire vagina by observing this fast due to the effect of fasting for sin. That beautiful Apsara went to heaven by assuming divine form. By observing this fast all the sins are destroyed.
