King Yudhishthir, blew the Anantavijay, while Nakul and Sahadev blew the Sughosh and Manipushpak.
हे पृथ्वीपति राजन्! राजा युधिष्ठिर ने अपना अनन्त विजय नाम का शंख बजाया तथा नकुल और सहदेव ने सुघोष एवं मणिपुष्पक नामक शंख बजाये।

विवरण:
कुन्ती पाण्डु की पहली पत्नी थी और कुन्ती यदुवंशी राजा शूरसेन की पुत्री, वसुदेव और सुतसुभा की बड़ी बहन और भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की बुआ थी। नागवंशी महाराज कुन्तिभोज ने कुन्ती को गोद लिया था।
कुन्ती को महर्षि दुर्वासा ने एक वरदान दिया था जिसमें कुन्ती किसी भी देवता का ध्यान करके, उन्हसे संतान प्राप्त कर सकती थी। वो हे मंत्र केवल 5 बार है उपयोग कर सकती थी। पाण्डु एवं कुंती ने इस वरदान का प्रयोग किया और उन्होंने माद्री जो की पाण्डु की दुरसी पत्नी थी उन्हें भी एक मंत्र दिया था।
कर्ण सूर्यनारायण और कुंती के पुत्र थे (जो उन्हके विवाह से पहले हुए थे तो उन्हें कर्ण को छोड़ना पड़ा ), युधिष्ठिर यमराज और कुंती के पुत्र थे। भीमसेन पवनदेव और कुंती के पुत्र थे। अर्जुन इन्द्र और कुंती के पुत्र थे। सहदेव और नकुल अश्विनीकुमार और माद्री के पुत्र थे।
इसिलए युधिष्ठिर पाण्डवों के सबसे बड़े भाई थे। इस श्लोक में उन्हें राजा कहकर संबोधित किया गया है। उन्होंने 'राजा' कहलाने की उपाधि राजसूय यज्ञ का अनुष्ठान कर अन्य राजाओं से उपहार एवं प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त करने के पश्चात पायी थी। उनके आचरण में राजसी गरिमा और उदारता सदैव टपकती रहती थी फिर चाहे जब वह महलों में रहते थे या अपने निर्वासन काल के दौरान वनों मे रहे।
Description:
Kunti was the first wife of Pandu and Kunti was the daughter of Yaduvanshi king Shurasen, elder sister of Vasudev and Sutsubha, and aunt of Lord Krishna. Nagvanshi Maharaj Kuntibhoj had adopted Kunti.
Kunti was given a boon by Maharishi Durvasa in which Kunti could beget children by meditating on any deity. She could use this mantra only 5 times. Pandu and Kunti used this boon and they also gave a mantra to Madri who was Pandu's second wife.
Karna was the son of Suryanarayana and Kunti (who had to leave Karna before their marriage), and Yudhishthira was the son of Yamraj and Kunti. Bhimsen was the son of Pavandev and Kunti. Arjuna was the son of Indra and Kunti. Sahadeva and Nakula were the sons of Ashwini Kumar and Madri.
That's why Yudhishthira was the eldest brother of the Pandavas. In this verse, he is addressed as a king. He got the title of being called 'King' after performing the ritual of Rajasuya Yagya and receiving gifts and prestige from other kings. His demeanor always oozed royal dignity and magnanimity, whether he lived in palaces or in the forests during his exile.
