yady apy ete na pashyanti lobhopahata-chetasah।
kula-kshaya-kritam dosham mitra-drohe cha patakam॥38॥
katham na jneyam asmabhih papad asman nivartitum।
kula-kshaya-kritam dosham prapashyadbhir janardana॥39॥
Meaning:
Their minds are dominated by greed, and they perceive no fault in destroying their own kin or betraying their friends.
However, O Janardan (Krishna), when we can unmistakably perceive the wrongdoing in slaying our own kin, why should we not abstain from this transgression?
उनके विचार लालच से अधिक हैं और उन्हें अपने सगे संबंधियों को नष्ट करने या दोस्तों पर धोखा देने में कोई दोष नहीं नजर आता।
