O Lord Ganesha, Lord Ganesha! May we always listen to such a voice that gives us happiness and keeps us away from evil. May our lives be spent in good works. We should always be engaged in the worship of God. Always stay away from things that lead to bad things. May our health always be good so that we can dedicate our life to the feet of God. Let our minds not be absorbed in indulgences.

May the Lord reside in each and every particle of ours and we should be engaged in serving him so that we may always do good deeds. We should pray to God like this. Whose fame is spread all around, that king of gods Indra is always seated everywhere and Lord Sri Brihaspati, the lord of intellect, these are the hidden powers of all the deities. They are good allies. It is good for human beings.

Alternative:

If for some reason you are not able to perform the full mantra. Chanting “Om shaanti ! shaanti !! shaanti !!”.

Om is said once while the shanti is said thrice. The reason for saying shanti thrice is that to bring peace to mind, soul, and body. When we chant shanti for the first time, it cleans our mind from negativity and brings positivity into it. The second shanti chant is for the soul, to bring the spiritual experience. The third shanti chant is for the body, to make it healthy and fit.
