हमारी शक्ति असीमित है और हम सब महान सेना नायक भीष्म पितामह के नेतृत्व में पूरी तरह से संरक्षित हैं जबकि पाण्डवों की सेना की शक्ति भीम द्वारा भलीभाँति रक्षित होने के पश्चात भी सीमित है।
The strength of our army is unlimited and we are safely marshalled by Grandsire Bheeshma, while the strength of the Pandava army, carefully marshalled by Bheem, is limited.

विवरण:
कौरवों की सेना का सेनानायक भीष्म है और पाण्डवों की सेना का भीम जो दुर्योधन का जन्मजात शत्रु था। क्योंकि वो जानता है कि यदि उसकी कभी मृत्यु होगी तो वो केवल भीम के हाथों ही होगी। यहाँ उसके मन में युद्ध में विजय को लेके संदेह भी है मगर वो खुद को ये विशवास दिलाना चाहता है कि वो ही विजय होगा।
क्योंकि भीष्म की उपस्थिति में उसकी विजय जरूर होगी। उन्हें इच्छा मृत्यु और अपनी मृत्यु का समय निश्चित करने का वरदान प्राप्त था जिससे वह वास्तव में अजेय कहलाते थे। भीम को वो कम अनुभवी नायक समझता है और भीष्म को वो श्रेष्ठ सेनापति। इसिलए कौरवों के पास असीमित शक्ति है और पाण्डवों के पास सीमित शक्ति है।
युद्ध में भीष्म पितामह के विचित्र व्यक्तित्व दिखाई देता है। भीष्म कौरव और पाण्डवों के पितामह थे और वे दोनों पक्षों का कल्याण चाहते थे। उन्हें पता था कि इस युद्ध में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण पाण्डवों की ओर है और संसार की कोई भी शक्ति अधर्म का पक्ष लेने वालों को विजय नही दिला सकती। फिर भी भीष्म पितामह ने अपने नैतिक जिम्मेदारी का पालन करने और हस्तिनापुर एवं कौरवों के हित की रक्षा हेतु पाण्डवों के विरूद्ध युद्ध करने का निर्णय लिया।
Description:
Bhishma is the commander-in-chief of the Kaurava army and Bhima of the Pandava army, who was Duryodhana's born enemy. Because he knows that if he ever dies, it will be at the hands of Bhima only. Here he also has doubts about the victory in the war but he wants to assure himself that he will be victorious.
Because in the presence of Bhishma he would definitely win. He was blessed with the boon of death at will and fixing the time of his death, which made him truly invincible. He considers Bhima as a less experienced hero and Bhishma as the best general. That's why Kauravas have unlimited power and Pandavas have limited power.
The strange personality of Bhishma Pitamah appears in the war. Bhishma was the grandfather of Kauravas and Pandavas and he wanted the welfare of both the parties. He knew that Lord Krishna is on the side of the Pandavas in this war and no power in the world can give victory to those who take the side of unrighteousness. Still Bhishma Pitamah decided to follow his moral responsibility and fight against the Pandavas to protect the interest of Hastinapur and Kauravas.
